Overcoming adversity is common to mankind; it is something each person must do at various points of their lives. In all the googled stories – there is a common thread and it is this thread we want to focus upon. Test this – read a few of them and see if you see it. This is not to say the darkest days were easy, quite the contrary in fact. At times the folks could not see the proverbial light at the end of the long and twisted tunnel but, nevertheless, they persevered. We often speak of reactive vs. proactive. I will borrow a Churchill quote that is fitting given our current environment in both business and life – Churchill said “Fear is a reaction. Courage is a decision.” As a company – we have courage. We will look at each situation and determine a way around, through, or over the obstacle. We will get through this and we will be better for it.
