Core Value: Authentic Human Connection
In the Beginning…
When Elliott Homes was first started, many would be surprised to know it began as a husband and wife team just simply building one home at a time. It began by asking questions and learning through doing. It was not an established company handed down through generations as some may have pictured. It began authentically and grew organically.
So Why Does this Matter?
As the company has grown over the years, and technology has become a driving force of the process, the core value of authentic human connection has become even more vital. Technology can improve the process and customer experience, which is very important. However, without an authentic human connection- there is nothing. The beginning roots of this company were authentic. They had to be, as there was nothing existing to have it any other way. And so, with new growth comes the constant reflection of Elliott Homes’ roots.
And now…
There is something to be said, of course, to the endless possibility that technology offers. There is also something to be said about humans relating, connecting and growing in an authentic way. In order to bond these two dynamic, highly complicated relationships, it comes down to intention.
As a company, this intention has to be a daily focus. The bond of these two relationships has to happen in every interaction. The moment we loose that authenticity with our homeowners is the moment we disconnect. As our technology processes improve, it is imperative our human relationships do too.
Find that way to connect. Our homeowner experience is not driven by technology. Our homeowner experience is driven by, our core values, our company roots, and our connections to one another. Technology will never replace uniquely human characteristics. This is what will always make us different. Connect with intention.
